Worship services

Sundays at 8:00am

Our first service on Sunday morning is for those who appreciate an early, quiet worship service before the day really gets going. We worship God using traditional language from our Anglican heritage. The service is reflective in spirit, with no music or other additions. You would be interested in this service if you value an early start to the day, and a peaceful place to pray with a minimum of distraction.

Sundays at 9:00am

Our second service on Sunday morning is for those who appreciate creativity, informality and joyful spontaneity in their worship of God. While the service is Anglican in structure, our 9am service will often alternate the call to worship, use a fuller repertoire of prayers, utilize drama or dance in the service and offer creative ways to pray or reflect. The music is led by our talented worship band, Tapestry, who uses many different types of contemporary music to lead us in worship. There is a children’s moment and Sunday School at this service. You would be interested in this service if you value a less structured, more contemporary worship service. Stay afterward for a cup of coffee or tea and some yummy treats.

Sundays at 11:00am

Our third service on Sunday morning is for those who appreciate choral music and joyful reverence in their worship of God. The service comes from the Anglican book of Alternative Service. This is a traditional liturgical service with prayers and readings shared by Anglican and Christians around the world. The atmosphere is both reverent and joyful. The excellent music is ably led by our talented choir, choirmaster and organist. We sometimes offer an engaging learning time for 1-4 year olds during part of the service. You would be interested in this service if you value choral accompaniment and liturgy in a service of worship.

Thursdays at 10:00am

Consider coming for a time of prayer, worship and spiritual refreshment during the week. Rather than a sermon we will have a short Bible study as a way of hearing the scriptures speak to us in a personal way. We will have a stack of Bibles available to borrow, or bring your own.

This service will resume in February, 2017. Join us!
